Conducting an Interview
What would a frog say if it could speak using words? If you choose to do this activity, you will work with your team to conduct and record mock interviews with frogs at each of the different stages of development.
Brainstorm with your team to come up with some good questions that you might want to ask an egg, a tadpole, a tadpole with legs, a froglet, and a frog if they could talk. Write your ideas down on a piece of paper. As a team, choose three questions to ask the frogs at each stage. Try not to use the exact same questions for each.
Show your questions to the teacher and get a digital voice recorder.
Each team member should take the role of the frog at the stage that they researched for the first team activity. Each team member should also take on the role of the interviewer for one interview. Turn on the recorder and begin the interview of the egg. Repeat this process for the other four stages.
Return the digital voice recorder to the teacher so she can send the information from the interviews to the head scientist!
