Performing a Puppet Show
What would a frog say if it could speak using words? If you choose to do this activity, you will work with your team to write and perform a puppet show about the frogs at each stage of development.
First you need to make the puppets. Print out one copy of this puppet picture sheet for your group.

Color the pictures and cut them out. (You will only need to use one of the tadpole pictures.) Get another sheet of paper and draw, color, and cut out at least two other characters for your puppet show. Ask your teacher for a popsicle stick and tape to attach to the back of each puppet. You may also want to create a background for your puppet show on another piece of paper.
With your team, write a script incorporates the egg, the tadpole, the tadpole with legs, the froglet, the frog, and your other characters. You should include some of the information that you collected from the first team activity in your play. Include at least one fact for each stage. Be creative!
Show your script to the teacher and get a Flip video camera.
Each team member should take the role of the frog at the stage that they researched for the first team activity. Make sure to practice your puppet show before recording it! When you are ready, set up the video camera and begin recording.
Return the Flip video camera to the teacher so she can send your video to the head scientist!
