Modeling the Stages of the Frog Life Cycle with Clay
If you choose to do this activity, you will be using clay to create models of the five stages in the life cycle of a frog.
Get clay and a piece of circular cardboard from your teacher. Using the knowledge that you've gathered about the stages in the life cycle of a frog, model each stage out of the clay. Make sure to include all of the important physical features of the frog at each stage.
When you are done, place your models in order around the outer edge of the piece of circular cardboard. Draw arrows going in the right direction and label each model with the name of the appropriate stage with a marker. Show your model to your teacher.
